Nets show mammoth firepower and flaws in Game 4 shootout

Nets still confirmed unsafe on the other end of the floor.

In the first round of the series, the Brooklyn Nets got 141 points on 98 possessions with the Boston Celtics on Sunday; in Game 4 141-126 victory.

As per 100 possessions, the rate of 143.9 points was the sixth most effective game. The Nets shot 58% from the field, 16-27 (59%) out of 3-point range, and from the free-throw line 29-30 (97%).

The ridiculous offensive performance showed by James Harden 32 on 12, Kevin Durant 42 on 20, and Kyrie Irving 39 on 24 had twice 104 as field goal attempts 56.

In the 2nd half, the Nets showed as many as 27 points. Until the final minute of the fourth quarter, the Nets stars stayed on the floor. Because of Boston’s efficient performance the game never got totally out of hand.

On Sunday, Celtic scored 126 points on 97 possessions without three starters- Robert Williams (left ankle sprain), Jaylen Brown (out for the season), Kemba Walker (left knee bone bruise), and in the last 25 years, Celtics made for the second most efficient playoff game for losing team.

If they want to win a championship, the Nets will have to be better defensive play.
