China to hand out $6.2 million in digital currency to Beijing residents as part of the trial

China will drape $6.2 million (40 million renminbi) of digital currency to residents in Beijing in a lottery. According to Administration Bureau and the Beijing Local Financial Supervision, citizens of the Chinese capital are facilitated by two banking apps to apply to win one of 200,000 and called red packets as a lottery.
