Were The Eight Victims of San Jose Mass Shooting are Identified

At a minimum 8 were killed in the San Jose shooting.

On Wednesday, 8 victims have been identified as investigators being in the process of estimating why such a terrible burst happened at a light rail yard, during the early hours of the morning.

Santa Clara County Office of the Medical Examiner-Coroner identified all victim’s ages which ranged from 29-63 including Lars Kepler Lane, 63; Paul Delacruz Megia, 42; Jose Dejesus Hernandez, 35; Taptejdeep Singh, 36; Timothy Michael Romo, 49; Adrian Balleza, 29; Abdolvahab Alaghmandan, 63; Michael Joseph Rudometkin, 40.

On Thursday night at an event at San Jose City Hall Plaza, they all will be honored.Among these victims, the ninth one had not been identified because is hospitalized in critical condition.

One most important thing told CNN’s Jake Tapper by Mayor Sam Liccardo is that,

“The victim and all the colleagues knew the shooter well”.

Police Respond about shots fired

The shooting started after 6:30 a.m near VTA. VTA operates light rail and bus services in the Santa Clara Valley and works as a public transit service. It was the VTA rail yard, not the operations control center where the VTA vehicles are maintained.- VTA Board Chairperson Glenn Hendricks.
