Congratulations are in order for the former One Direction star and his girlfriend, Maya Henry as the two is now reportedly engaged. The celebrity couple is set to tie the knots and walk down the aisle after almost two years of dating one another and we are so excited!
This news comes shortly after the 20-year-old model was spotted wearing a huge diamond engagement ring on ‘THAT’ finger while she was out on dinner at London’s Novikov restaurant with Liam on Thursday, August 27th. A source told that “They looked so smitten during the meal and it was hard to miss Maya’s ring- it’s a real dazzler.” The ring is reported to be worth $4 million. “They couldn’t stop smiling. It’s clear they’re so deeply in love.”
Just before the two sparked rumors, Liam confirmed his split with long term girlfriend, Cheryl Cole, with whom he shares a son with. Liam took to Twitter at that time and wrote to his fans, “Cheryl and I are sad to announce that we are going our separate ways. It’s been a tough decision for us to make. We still have so much love for each other as a family. Bear is our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way through this together.”

Surprisingly, years later the two were rumored to be romantically involved. Liam Payne and Maya Henry were first spotted spending some quality time together back in 2018, August. But later he was spotted packing on the PDA with model Cairo Dwek just a few weeks later, so everyone just assumed that they are no more an item and their relationship had come to an end.
August 2019:
One year later, the couple was spotted and photographed holding hands in August 2019, leaving a night club in London which seemingly confirmed their relationship. According to a source close to the couple, it was revealed that Liam and Henry have been dating were actually together for a while before this. However, the pop-star and the brunette beauty wanted to keep their growing relationship a secret and out of the spotlight until they knew that it was a ‘real deal’.
“Liam and Maya have been together for several months now. He is besotted and they get on very well…. He wanted to wait before they started going public. The 1D star was also asked about his current relationship during an interview with KISS FM UK to which he responded saying, “I am yeah. I am. I am very lucky. She is really great.
