Megan Thee Stallion is speaking out her truth! In a Fiery Instagram live-stream on Thursday, the ‘Savage’ rapper accused singer Tory Lanez of shooting her in her feet after a party in Hollywood Hills last month. She said Tory is the person that shot her that night.
The rapper whose real name is Megan Pete explained that she is not one to share her business publicity and that she didn’t immediately tell the police because she is not ‘that person’. Megan also told that she wanted to ‘spare’ Tory Lanez but had a change of heart when she came to know that Lanez and his camp are trying to spread false rumors about the incident.
“Yes, this n***a Tory shot me,” Megan claimed. “You shot me and you got your publicist and your people going to these blogs, lying, and shit. Stop Lying!”
Lanez was arrested the morning of the Incident:
More than a month after ‘Hot Girl Meg’ was shot in the feet after a party in Hollywood Hills, she, for the first time told publically that fellow star; Tory Lanez was the one who pulled the trigger that night.
Lanez was arrested the morning of the triggering accident on suspicion that he was in possession of a concealed weapon but was later released on bail that day. The rapper has not been charged with anything related to that accident since now but the Police say that the incident is under investigation.
On Wednesday, The LA County district attorney’s office told the reporters that it was ‘reviewing a potential charge of felony assault’ with a fireman in connection with the shot case.
What happened at the scene?
Megan Thee Stallion, Tory Lanez, and an unidentified woman who reported to be Megan’s friend ‘Kelsey Nicole’ and Lanez’s bodyguard had attended a grand party at Kylie Jenner’s Hollywood hills party and were returning home later that evening on June 12. The four of them were pulled over by some police officers after a report of gunfire outside a 2nd residence.
Megan revealed that there was an argument amongst the people present in the vehicle and when she tried to walk away, Lanez shot her. The initial reports say that the rapper cut her feet on broken glass inside the car but then she later claimed that she was shot. However, Megan did not reveal the name of the gunman but it was speculated to be Tory Lanez, who was said to be dating Megan.
Megan Thee Stallion has been slowly revealing the incident through her social media posts and telling everyone that what Lanez is spreading are false rumors.
Megan explained in her Instagram live:
“I tried to keep the situation off the internet but you draggin It.” The rapper started her life by saying this. “Motherf—ers claiming that I hit him- I never hit you! Motherf—ers are like ‘She’s mad because he’s trying to f—k Kylie Jenner- no I wasn’t.” She told referring to how Lanez has been saying that Megan hit him in the SUV.
“There’s only four Motherf—ers in the car: me, you, my home-girl and your security—everybody in the car is arguing. I’m in the front seat, he’s in the back. I get out the car, I’m done arguing. I’m walking away.” She continues.
“This n—ga from the backseat, starts shooting me! I didn’t get cut no glass! Let me tell you why they keep saying that. There’s a witness- when the police came…this did not happen at Kylie’s house, this happened damn near back at the house I was staying at.”
“The police come, I’m scared- the police (have been) killing black people for no reason. They were really aggressive- you think I’m about to tell the police that we n–ga got a gun in the car?” Megan further tells during the live stream.
“If you wanna tell the truth, I saved this n—ga,” Megan said referring to when police arrested Lanez.
Megan described it as ‘the worst experience of my life:

From the beginning, the rapper has said that she would fully recover from the shooting but the incident required her to have to go through surgery to have to get the bullets removed and said that it was ‘super scary’ and ‘the worst experience of my life’, and how she is blessed that the gunfire didn’t hit anywhere else.
Megan also tweeted before the Thursday live that, “Lie one more time and ima quit sparing you.”
According to a statement from the district attorney’s office:
A representative told Variety news on Thursday that there was no update and investigation going on regarding the incident.
“On July 24th, our office asked Law enforcement for further investigation before making a filling decision on a charge of felony assault with a semiautomatic firearm- personal use of a fireman” reads a statement from the district attorney’s office against Lanez.
Tory Lanez, the 28-year-old rapper has been keeping a low profile ever since the accident took place.
During a cover interview, Megan further discussed:
Megan, during a cover interview with Variety news, just after 9 days from the shooting incident told,
“I’m not the type of person who can stay down for a long time. I don’t like to be sad or keep myself in a dark place because I know it could be the worst thing happening, but the pain and the bad things don’t last for long.”
When Megan was asked why her reps have said so little of the incident, she jokingly replied, “It’s nothing that’s planned out. I just get online and my team doesn’t even know until they see it and, ‘Oh shit- look at Megan.”Megan Thee Stallion was already a major name in the hip-hop and rap world but now has entered the Billboard Hot 100 at No.1 this week with her feature on Cardi B’s new song “WAP” that has received major media attention.
