Ireland Baldwin shares photo of bruised face after she was attacked by a woman ‘high on drugs’

Model Ireland Baldwin opened up about a harrowing incident on her Instagram yesterday and shared the details that shocked her fans to no end. Baldwin told her followers that she was ‘attacked’ by a random woman that appeared to be very much high on drugs.

Ireland Baldwin first starting her modeling career back in 2013 and was seen in magazine covers and appeared in films such as Grudge Match. She is very vocal about issues that are close to her heart and is also an advocate for animal rights.

She shared the story on Instagram:

The daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger shared some details about how the event took place but the location of it is still unclear. Baldwin shared a heartfelt post with a meaningful caption as she shared some pictures of her bruised cheek.

 She wrote in the caption,

Yesterday in the late afternoon, I was attacked by a woman who was high out of her mind on drugs and desperate for cash. She decked me in my face in a parking lot and took my belongings and jumped in a getaway car while her husband took off.’

“Luckily I had witnesses and got assisted really quickly. The cops told me this is happening frequently because people are desperate for money right now due to Coronavirus and people being out of work. There is a lot of theft and muggings doing down.” Baldwin added.

After that, she reminded all her fans and followers to be ‘really careful’

Posting this to remind everyone to be very careful and watch your surroundings. These are really difficult times and we need to look out for each other.” She concluded her message on Instagram.

The actress also told that the cops were called to the scene and they arrested the woman and her husband.

After the 24-year-old shared the photographs of huge bruises on her face, her fans were quick to jump on in the comment section to say some kind words to the model. Her dad, comedian Nikki Glaser, and mogul Amy Doan and others showed some love for Ireland.
