The global pandemic of coronavirus did not stop these A-list female celebrities to earn billions of dollars. The collective total is estimated to an equal of $6.1 billion. The money magazine recently dropped the 100 Highest-earning celebrities of 2020 and we are not surprised to see the leading celeb.
The list is led by the famous Kylie Jenner but it comes after one week of when Jenner was reported to exaggerate her earnings in order to inflate her status to a billionaire. Kylie replied flabbergasted and told her Twitter followers, “I thought this was a reputable site…all I see are a number of inaccurate statements and unproven assumptions.”
Some of these female celebrities weren’t in fact born with a golden spoon in their mouths and started their journey from rock bottom and built their way up into the spotlight. Kylie Jenner- $540 M:
Kylie Kristen Jenner is an American Media personality, socialite, business, and also a model, starring in E! reality TV series known as Keeping Up with the Kardashian. According to Forbes, the star net worth was estimated to be $1 billion, making her the youngest self-made billionaire but later the publication accused her of fabricating her revenue figures and Jenner was stripped off of that title.
Her biggest source of earning is from her makeup brand called Kylie Cosmetics and the huge earnings from the past 12 months is largely because Kylie decided to sell 51% of the Kylie Cosmetic share to Coty. She pocketed $540 million for herself through this deal and this has been called the “Biggest celebrity cash outs of all time.”
Ellen DeGeneres – $84 M:
The chat show host, Ellen Lee DeGeneres is an American comedian, actress and a famous television host known best for hosting her syndicated TV talk show, The Ellen Show. Her daytime show makes a lot of money but the total earning was under investigation. The star also makes tons of cash producing other shows and her lines of products at various companies including PetSmart and Bed, Bath &Beyond.
Ellen ranks 12th as the highest-paid celebrity in 2020 with $84 million in annual earning.
Ariana Grande- $72 M:
Ariana Grande-Butera is one of the most hit singers of this generation. The singer-songwriter and actress are well- known for her powerful vocals and possesses an expansive four-octave vocal range and an impressive whistle register. Her singles have broken records and are the first artist to have their first four number-one singles top the US charts.
Ariana is the daughter of two successful parents and was already born quite rich. The star has total annual earnings of $72 million and her earnings over the last year mostly came from her Sweetener Tour which grossed over $146 Million.
Taylor Swift- $63.5 M:
Taylor Alison Swift, the American singer-songwriter is well known for her narrative lyrics which often centers on her personal life and has managed to get quite the media attention. She is the absolute queen of topping charts and her hit singles have broken so many records.
Swift is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, having sold 150 million singles and 50 million albums worldwide. Taylor Swift released her 7th studio album LOVER in a record deal with Universal in 2019.
JK Rowling- $60M:
Joanne Rowling, better known by her pen name J.K Rowling is a British author, producer, and screenwriter. The star is best known for writing the hit fantasy series called Harry Potter and won multiple awards and sold more than 500 million copies worldwide.
The author has lived a ‘rags to riches’ life but humbly worked her way up and is now ranked at 178th of being one of the most riches celebs in the UK.
Billie Eilish- $53M:
Billie Eilish is an American singer-songwriter who first gained massive attention when she uploaded her song ‘Ocean Eyes’ on SoundCloud back in 2015. Since then, the singer has been breaking records. Her accolades include five Grammy Awards, 2 American Music Awards, 2 Guinness World Records, and many more. Billie Eilish made records when she became the youngest singer to be on the list of the Highest-Paid female celebrities.
At just 18, Billie Eilish is the 23rd biggest artist of the digital era as she sold over 3.5 million singles in the United States alone.
Kim Kardashian- $49.5M:
Kimberly Kardashian West is an American socialite, media personality and a businesswoman who gained attention as a stylist of Paris Hilton but later gained major attention after her sex-tape with boyfriend Ray was released. She stars in the Kar-Jenner Reality TV show called Keeping up with the Kardashian. Kim has developed a social media presence including her millions of followers.
Kim has also starred in some films while also endorsing in so many brand launches, adding to her riches. The beauty mogul pocketed most of her earring this year from her new shapewear venture called SKIMS as well as her major ongoing business with her makeup brand KKW cosmetics and her own mobile game.

Judith Susan Sheindlin also comes in this list. Judy is an American prosecution lawyer, television personality, and the former Manhattan family court judge and an author as well. She won many awards for her arbitration-based court show series called Judge Judy and will conclude her program after its 25th season 2021 and then launch a similar series, Judy Justice.
Judy also received a Life Time Achievement Award for her work over the years and the 77-year-old judge is the highest-paid TV star earning $47 Million for Judge Judy.
Jennifer Lopez- $47.5 M:
Jennifer Lynn Lopez, better known by her nickname J.Lo is an American singer, dancer, actress and businesswoman. She pursued her acting career in 1993 and made millions through her films and later establishing herself as the highest-paid Latin actress in the Hollywood. Then she ventured into the music industry and broke records, topping the charts.
Forbes ranked J.Lo as the 38th most powerful woman in the world back in 2012. The ‘On the Floor’ singer has earned a lot of her money from her recent endorsements including Quay, Versace, and her fragrance line.

The singer has also been crowned as the richest female musician in the United Kingdom this year. Her endorsement with various brands and her own skin-care and makeup line named as Fenty Beauty has earned her millions.
Sofia Vergara- $43M:
Sofia Margarita Vergara is a famous Columbian- American actress, television producer, and a model, who has been ranked as the top-earning actress in the American Television for the past couple of years. She rose to prominence when she hosted two hit Spanish television shows and later, she played roles in comedy films which made her a bigger star.She earned Millions through the comedy show ‘Modern Family’ but the show officially ended this year but Vergara still remains the world’s highest-paid female celebrity according to Forbes. As of 2020, The actress is a judge on America’s Got Talent show.
