Ireland Baldwin’s positive message to her fans:

The pressure to be thin and have a perfect figure in the beauty and modeling industry is what exacerbated the trend. At least 30 million Americans have eating disorders of some sort. This American model has always been vocal about spreading awareness regarding this serious issue.

She shared a positive message to her fans and followers by saying,

Love yourself!!! You are beautiful!! Enjoy your food. Eat ice cream with your friends! Work out and eat healthy to take care of your mind and body but find your healthy balance! Life is too short.”

She opened up about her eating disorders in 2018:

The American model first opened about her past struggle with eating disorders back in 2018. She also shared a throwback photo on her Instagram stories with NOPE written on her body in a Bikini.

Talking about her past pain, she wrote at that time

I battled with many eating disorders and body issues as a young girl and it took me a long time to find out self-love and acceptance! Trust me, all of that pain and destruction I inflicted on myself wasn’t worth it. Turning down so. Many. Sides. Of. Fries. Wasn’t worth it!!!

She added that “I would eat a meal or more like a bite and have to run to the nearest bathroom or find digestive pills or run until I couldn’t feel my legs right before bed.”

I used to read people’s comments when I first started modeling and anytime anyone told me I was too tall or too fat to have done a job, I would run on a treadmill for the entire duration of at least three episodes of ‘ Friday Night Lights’ that I had on the box set.”

Baldwin talked about ‘Body-Shaming’

Recently, Baldwin took to her Instagram to talk about the cruel issue of body shaming someone. She posted some paparazzi pictures and wrote,

“yesterday’s paparazzi pics vs today’s… remember people! Lighting is everything and the media always wants to make people look like shit if they can. So bored and tired of the body shaming.”

She continued writing, “Don’t we have enough going on in the world? How do people still have time to cut other down? Also, I have razor bumps for days, I don’t have a 6 pack abs ( I am working on it thanks @chloe_t and I am as white as snow and I don’t give a fuuuuu—k. let’s find better hobbies and encourage body positivity.”
