Where to Find Malcontent’s Ring in Sekiro:

To acquire this famous Ring, you first must defeat the Guardian Ape. You’ll get the opportunity to find Malcontent’s Ring when you kill the Guardian Ape. Don’t forget to lie down near Sculptor’s Idol. It will restore your energy. After resting, move forward and open your map. The map will display the Guardian Ape’s Burrow in grey color. That will be your clue. Travel to that location. Simply use the fast travel feature to get there faster. When you reach the Sculptor’s Idol in the Hidden Forest, use the grapple ability to hook on to the nearest ledge available. This ledge will take you inside the Guardian Ape’s Burrow. There you’ll find a new waiting for you in the form of Shichimen Warrior. You are going to need same items to kill this enemy that you used for Headless. If you don’t know how to kill headless, read our guide on “How to Kill Headless in Sekiro: Shadow Die Twice”.

Basically you’ll need Divine Confetti and Pacifying agent to kill Shichimen Warrior. Killing this Warrior will reward you with the Malcontent’s Ring. After collecting it, head back to the Dilapidated Temple and talk to the Sculptor.

Simply, exchange the Ring and that will allow you to upgrade one of the skill nodes for your Malcontent Shinobi Prosthetic Tool. You should have Sen in your backpack while exchanging the Ring for this process to work.
